As we all know, IGNOU is a Distance Education University, but it is also university run by the Central Government. And I believe that IGNOU certificate is more valuable than any other distance education university like Sikkim Manipal, Mahatma Gandhi, etc.
As it is nation wide, you can apply for the both jobs offered by the Central and State Government. If there is any special requirement related to degree and course, when they release the notification of job.
Some private companies prefer only candidates on a regular basis, but not all. So you can also apply for private jobs, if any.
Experience also matters a lot to get a job in Library Sector. And if you have experience, then it will be given more priority. And if not, then soon you should join any library, so that you can get the experience letter easily.
